Hair is to be pulled back in a neat bun. Please, absolutely no jewelry or accessories.
Each child is required to label all shoes and bring them in a dance bag for every class.
Payment Policies
At time of sign up we collect the first and last month tuition in addition to a $25 registration fee. After that tuition is due the first week of each month, payable by cash or check made out to Diva Dance Studio. A $10 late fee will be added to all payments received after the 10th and there is a $25 fee that will be applied for all bounced checks. Please hand in payments in envelope provided to our office staff. If you fail to make payments for more than 30 days your child will not be permitted to enter class until the balance is paid-in-full.
Cancellation of Dance Classes
Although this is a ten-month commitment, we understand that sometimes things come up. Cancellation of classes MUST be received in writing. You will be charged for the month of cancellation an for all classes the child has attended. We do not take cancellations after December and you will be billed for your costume that was previously ordered.
Committment
We do suggest teaching your child about commitment. Each year our teachers work extremely hard choreographing routines for our annual recital. It takes 100% dedication, attendance, and practice from all; every child counts. When one student decides to drop out it affects the whole class. The entire routine must be changed, spots redone; it is a big deal. So please guide your child into commitment and not quitting. If for the following year they wish not to return, that is their choice.
Costume/Recital Payment & Cancellation
A costume deposit for each class is due in December with the remaining balance due in February. Once deposits have been sent to the costume company there can be no refund issued. A $50 fee will be applied for any costume cancelled. Once costume orders are completed you are responsible for full payment.
